lvFERRET ir sesku turētāju kopiena Latvijā, kas tika dibināta 2007.gadā.

lvFERRET ietilpst starptautiskajā inFerretGroup organizācijā un ir tās ekskluzīvs pārstāvis Latvijas teritorijā. lvFERRET galvenie mērķi ir ticamas un drošas informācijas izplatīšana par mājas sesku uzturēšanu, elitāru sesku izplatīšana un šo burvīgo dzīvnieku apstiprināšana kā noteikta dzīves veida simbolu mūsdienu industriālajā sabiedrībā.

inFerretGroup is an international group of ferret lovers combining together a number of ferret owners and breeders organizations world-wide. At the moment we have the following representatives in different countries:
ruFERRET (Russia), ltFERRET - Šeško Klubas (Lithuania) and lvFERRET (Latvia).

In March of 2007, inFerretGroup was founded in order to achieve various goals related to growing popularity of ferrets as pets, coordination of the practise of various ferret breeders and spreading to the world the trustworthy information about keeping ferrets at home.

Goals and tasks of inFerretGroup

1. Breeding and circulation of elite and truly homebred ferrets

2. Spreading the trustworthy information about keeping ferrets as pets to the ferret owners and giving professional consultations.

3. Coordination of ferret breeders and circulation of ferret kits.

4. Representation of various ferret owners organizations, members of inFerretGroup.

5. Promotion of a ferret as a symbol of a new style and new way of living.

Philosophy of inFerretGroup

It is well know that in our modern and industrial society a human being longs for its grounds. As a result of it people are constantly seeking for the communication with the nature, however every days rush of modern and industrial cities makes its own rules and very often makes the communication with nature impossible. In a situation like this a pet as a representative of nature comes to our homes and helps to solve the problem.

Internationally into Ferrets. A ferret for us is not simply a pet kept at home by a human being but first of all it is the animal of our way of living. In comparison to "traditional" cats, dogs and small rodents, ferret is an untraditional pet. Ferret owners share special world outlook and nature. For the major part of ferret owners ferret becomes a symbol of the style of their life. The task of inFerretGroup is to keep and elaborate this tendency, to create and improve cosy and comfortable environment for the communication of ferret owners.
